Remember the Dewey Decimal System from your school library? Well, we're not using that, but there is a "system" in place.
- Fiction, to the left of the fireplace, is shelved alphabetically by author.
- Nonfiction, to the right of the fireplace, is arranged loosely by topic.

Please make every effort to adhere to these simple rules.
- Borrow books on the honor system--and don't forget to return them when you are finished or if you decide not to read them.
- Place returns and donations in the large basket.
Our library volunteers will put returned books back on the shelves and will add donations to the collection. Help us keep our collection interesting by donating current books!
Because of limited shelf space, most (but not all) paperbacks will stay in the basket for informal swapping. (If you borrow one of these and leave it behind on a cruise or your dog chews it up, no worries!) Recent trade paperbacks will be added to the collection on the shelves.
Donations which don’t work for us* will be passed on to the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for their book sales.
Pass your comments and suggestions on to any of the members of the Communications Committee.

*Donations that don’t work for our limited space include:
- Hardcover books with copyright dates approximately before 2021 unless of particular timely interest
- Books in poor condition
- Duplicate copies
